2009-2010 Schedule

Riverside Youth Basketball is excited to offer BOYS' DIVISIONS for some of our 2009-2010 events. We have heard from enough different teams to know that there is interest that should support hosting a boys' tournament along with our well known and much respected girls' basketball tournaments. Each event will of course be dependent on the interest level for each division, boys and girls, so please put the word out that we are now trying to do something for those looking for more options for the boys' teams as well as always bringing together solid competition for the girls' game.

Last year, we had over 120 girls' teams play in at least one of our events and several teams came back to play in as many as eight of our tournaments throughout the year. With some small improvements to how we are doing things and the addition of the boys' divisions, we hope to take our Riverside Tournaments to a whole new level in 2009-2010. Register your team below and come check out what we have to offer. 

All players and coaches must have a current AAU card for the 09-10 year in order to participate in our Riverside Tournaments.  

Oct 17-18, Kickoff Classic, registration deadline Oct. 2nd, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade, High School Same School, High School All-Star (AAU & Club) and High School Elite (AAU & Club) divisions

Nov 14-15, Fall Festival, registration deadline Oct. 30th, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade, High School Same School, High School All-Star (AAU & Club) and High School Elite (AAU & Club) divisions

Dec 5-6, Holiday Hoopfest, registration deadline Nov. 27th, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade divisions

Jan 9-10, New Year's Celebration Event, registration deadline Dec. 25th, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade divisions

Feb 6-7, Winter Warm Up, registration deadline Jan. 22nd, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade divisions

Mar 19-21, Spring Fling, registration deadline Mar. 5th, $200 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade, High School Same School, High School All-Star (AAU &Club) and High School Elite (AAU & Club) divisions

Apr 23-25, Last Chance TOC Qualifier, registration deadline Apr. 9th, $250 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade, High School Same School, High School All-Star (AAU & Club) and High School Elite (AAU & Club) divisions, Looking ahead to our May 14-16 Tournament of Champions, this tournament in April will serve as a "last chance" to play your way into a spot at the TOC. Top finishers in each division in April will be extended the last of the invitations to return in May to play the best teams from around the region.

May 14-16, Tournament of Champions, This event grows bigger with stronger competition from top to bottom every year. We try to bring together all of the best teams that we have seen throughout the year. Every team that has won a championship in one of our previous events is "in" for this event. Teams that qualify in one of the top spots at our Last Chance Qualifier in April are "in". We will also extend invites to some of the outstanding teams that we are aware of from around the region. If you genuinely feel you have one of these top teams and would like to compete in the TOC and have not been contacted by Apr. 9th, please contact dennpretz@comcast.net to see if we can include your team., $250 for a four game guarantee, Girls and Boys 6th-8th grade, High School Same School, High School All-Star (AAU & Club) and High School Elite (AAU & Club) divisions

If you are interested in one of our upcoming events please register your team online right away so that we may hold a spot for you in that division for that particular tournament. After completing the online registration, please mail the registration fee and your team roster with AAU #'s to:

Multi-team and multi-event discounts!!!
We would like to show our appreciation to those teams and programs that continue to support what we are doing here at Riverside by offering the following discounts on registration fees:

Multi-team discounts will apply to programs/organizations that register 3 or more teams in the same Riverside Tournament and each of those teams will receive $25 off their fee for that tournament.

Multi-event discounts will apply to a single team that registers to play in multiple Riverside Tournaments throughout the year.
1st and 2nd event are full price,
 3rd, 4th and 5th event are $25 off each event,
6th, 7th and 8th event are $50 off each event,
9th and 10th event are $75 off each event.
