* This class went 12-4 in the first
year under Coach Adam Barrett. This group of seniors will always be remembered as the class who built the Tradition
of Riverside Basketball as we know it today. Heart, Intensity, and Passion were the words to describe what these three
players thought the program needed. The most memorable experience was playing one of the all time great teams on the
West Coast, Oregon City. AR finished a school's best 3rd in the league and went on and played 2 games at West
Central District. Overall Record 12-11

Ashley Misocky, attended and graduated

Led by Rylee Denbo, this team finished 2nd in league with a 13-3 record and
placed 4th at West Central Districts thanks to an incredible steal with 7 seconds left from Amanda Gius and a Julie Futch
finish at the other end to upset Lincoln of Tacoma by 1 in the quarterfinals. They went to state for
the first time in school history! They opened up with the #4 ranked team in the state, Meadowdale. It was Katie
Grad hitting 7 free throws down the stretch and in overtime to advance to play #2 Garfield in the second round. With
4 minutes to go it was a 4 point game until Garfield turned it up and went on to beat Riverside. They then went on and
lost to Prairie in the 3rd round. Overall Record: 19-9.

on to attend and play basketball at Highline CC
Corinna Quam, attending and playing
soccer Dominican, CA
Julie Futch came up short of playing for a state title her junior year and made it her
goal to get her team to the state championship. Futch lifted her team to a 17-1 league record, giving Auburn Riverside
it's first ever league championship. This time it was Lincoln who beat Auburn Riverside at West Central Distict on a
foul called from the deep corner with no time on the clock. One official waved it off while the other one gave
the player 2 shots. She hit her first free throw for the win. Auburn Riverside went to state and opened up with
Lake Stevens, a #1 seed from the Wesco. AR beat Lake Stevens. Up next was Eisenhowser. That game went back
and forth but in the end it was too much AR. Semi-final match between Lewis and Clark and AR. LC was led by All-American
Heather Bowman (U of Washington/Gonazga) and advanced past AR to the finals. AR ended up losing in the 3rd place game
on another last second foul. This time it was Angie Bjorkland (U of Tennessee), one of the best and most humble players
you will ever meet. Riverside brought home their first ever State Trophy ... 6th place! Overall Record: 22-7.
Class of 2007
Stephanie Wilber, attended
and played basketball at Arizona State University in 07-08, transferred and is attending Brigham Young University.
Can you say 2007 State Champs AND 2007 State Player of the Year? Yes, Auburn Riverside was on the winning
side of a state title by upsetting an incredible Chief Sealth team. Before an crowd of 8,500, Auburn Riverside hoisted
their first ever state championship on March 10, 2007! Captains Stephanie Wilber and Katie Grad came up with a saying at the
beginning of the year, which no one knew the meaning of originally. "Rt2 310", which meant, Run The Table
March 10th (meaning they would be state champs). That saying came true. Led by the State Player of the Year,
Wilber, who put up 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in her last high school game. Missing 9 games of the regular
season due to a foot injury, Wilber placed the workload on junior Katie Grad. Both players went on to
be Co-MVP's of the league and to bring Riverside back to back League Championships. They also went on to win their first
ever West Central District Championship. League Record: 14-0. Overall Record: 27-2.
Class of 2008

Rachel Givens, attending and playing soccer and basketball at Cochise College
Katie Grad, attending and playing basketball at Washington State University
Gina Hagerty, attending the University of Oregon
Randi Raiford,
attending and playing basketball at Green River CC
Another year of hard work, focus and determination resulted in a second straight state championship
thanks in large part to a strong senior season by state player of the year, Katie Grad, along with the largest senior class
to graduate under Coach Adam Barrett. All of these ladies contributed to a solid team effort that achieved a 25-3 overall
record, a third straight league title, a second straight West Central District championship, and ultimately, back to back
state titles!
Class of 2009
Nichole Jackson,
attending and playing basketball at Portland State University
Amanda Thomson,
attending and playing basketball at Cal State-Northridge
Expectations
were big coming off back to back 3A State Championships and the 2009 seniors and the 08-09 team put in the kind of hard work
in the offseason that would give them the best chance to compete for a third straight title. League games were tough, with
match-ups against state caliber teams like Kentwood and Federal Way. Non-league games included eventual state champion runner-up
Snohomish, defending Oregon 5A State Champs Jefferson, Oregon state power Jesuit and four time defending Oregon 6A
State champions Southridge, so the regular season provided every opportunity to prepare for state tournament caliber
competition. Though Riverside did not come away with another league championship, they did redeem themselves somewhat
and win their third straight West Central District title. State tournament match-ups included a first round win against Eastlake
of Sammamish, a tough second round loss to Moses Lake, a big third round win versus Garfield of Seattle and then a final round
come-from-behind win against Issaquah to claim a 4th Place trophy. Overall Record: 21-7.
