Welcome to the home of the 2007 Washington Girl's Basketball State Champions!  Auburn Riverside Women's Basketball won it's first ever state championship last season.  Heading into this season, AR is the pre-season favorite to win back to back titles.  There are several teams who will contend for the title, including Lakes, Kennedy, Issaquah, Seattle Prep, Meadowdale and Skyline.  All teams who played in the state tournament last season.

Katie Grad and Stephanie Egwuatu, the two D-1 signees, look to lead 5 seniors, 1 junior, 3 sophomores, and 1 freshman into the 2007-2008 season.  Non-league games will test the nationally ranked Ravens (# 21 ESPN).  They will attend the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Arizona before Christmas and host their own Riverside Invitational the weekend after Christmas.  Both tournaments will be competitive and lots of fun.

We want to thank all of the people who have contributed to our success.  We hope our website will give you great insight to our teams, players, coaches, scheduling, tournaments, alumni, and our great sponsors and donors.  It is our hope to see you at our tournament games or during our regular high school winter season.

Katie Grad became the third straight McDonalds All-American Nominee for Auburn Riverside.  The 5'8 senior guard who has committed to Washington State follows in line with Julie Futch (Oregon State) and Stephanie Wilber (Arizona State).  Katie has proved that hard work can get you where you want to go in life.  Congratulations to Katie and her parents for this great nomination!

BIG NEWS: Ireti Amojo just completed a trip to Washington State University on an unofficial visit.  Coach June Daugherty and staff met with Amojo Sunday and watched the mens selection at Boller Gym.  Katie Grad, her mom Lori, and her grandparents, all were along for the ride.  It was today, Monday, March 17, 2008 that Ireti Amojo committed to be a Washington State Cougar and play alongside her sister, Katie.

We could not be any happier for Ireti.  The most important thing for Ireti is being happy and knowing she is going to be playing with Katie in college.  WSU seemed to be the perfect fit for Amojo.  Her mother back in Germany felt that WSU was the place for her daughter as she could tell how excited Ireti would get thinking about it.  Ireti had considered Washington, Oregon State, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah.

Congratulations to Ireti Amojo and the Washington State Cougars.  There is no question that WSU is making a charge with the kids they have signed.  We are excited for Katie and Ireti to be a part of that building process.  Ireti makes it the 4th straight year the Riverside Ravens have produced a PAC 10 player.  Julie Futch ('06 OSU), Stephanie Wilber ('07 ASU), Katie Grad ('08 WSU), and now Ireti Amojo ('09 WSU).  It is the 5th Division 1 player from the program (Stephanie Egwuatu '08 Portland State University).
